Growing up in an academic household, I essentially "tunnel visioned" through my undergraduate and graduate studies, always surrounded by my mother's nutrition and wellness books. This natural focus led me to pursue a Health Law Degree post-graduation, allowing me to work in Health Policy and apply my nutritional background to the healthcare world.

The idea that we are healing machines has always fascinated me. Modern medicine is often focused on quick fixes, ignoring the body's innate ability to heal itself. These quick fixes frequently involve chemical-laden medicines, creating havoc on the body without addressing the root of the disease. Functional medicine, on the other hand, considers nutrition, the environment, and the whole person in its approach to healing - an approach I find imperative.

Kat Burki's 5-Steps On-The-Go Set includes:

Step 1: Cleanse KB5 Calming Gel Cleanser: Gently massage onto face and neck, then rinse with water. Can be used on wet or dry skin. Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm: Use a small amount, work into skin, and rinse with water. For extra exfoliation, use the included muslin cloth.

Step 2: Tone Super Nutrient Elixir: Mist directly onto face or cotton pad, then gently pat into skin. Allow product to fully absorb before moving to the next step.

Step 3: Optimize pH PH+ Enzyme Essence: Apply 1-2 pumps onto fingertips and pat into skin. Allow essence to fully absorb.

Step 4: Moisturize Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream: Apply a dime-sized amount all over face and neck. A little goes a long way!

Step 5: Lock In Power Trio Radiance Oil: Apply 1 pump (warm in hands) and tap onto skin to lock in moisture.
